We had dinner here tonight as a group of four, and it was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. We ordered several appetizers, the Fattoush salad, bone marrow, and the large mixed meat platter to share. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. The quality of the meat deserves special mention—it was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and clearly of a very high standard. The bone marrow was exceptional, and we especially enjoyed the tableside preparation, which added a unique touch to the experience. What made the evening even more memorable was the service. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. One team member in particular took excellent care of us and even put on a small show while preparing the bone marrow and a traditional eggplant purée at our table, which made the experience feel very special and personal. The portions are also very generous and significantly larger than what you would typically expect, offering excellent value for money. In addition, the restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Great food, outstanding service, generous portions, and a wonderful ambiance. I would highly recommend Ferdi Usta Ortaköy to anyone looking for high-quality Turkish cuisine and exceptional hospitality in Istanbul.
Spectacular experience! Breathtaking views and insanely good flavors. Nothing we had was average, beyond every expectation. The experience starts from when you enter, with kind staff and a hygienic environment. We had mixed Tandır plate which was delicious. The Kabak Tatlısı was one of the best I ever had. Highly recommend and would definitely come again
Best Turkish grill in Istanbul 👌🏻😋 We ordered Mixed Meet Kebab and Iskander Kebab.. both was amazing so fresh and meat was so juicy and flavourful 😋😋 They are also famous for different types of rice, salads and their Lamb shanks!! Service 10/10 Food 100000/10 Atmosphere 10/10 (roof top also) Highly recommended place and very underrated 👍🏻🇹🇷
Lovely lunch spot. We didn’t realise there was a terrace, but the waiter kindly recommended upstairs such a nice surprise. We had our 3 month old with us and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious juicy meat, fresh salads, everything was spot on. We loved it and would definitely come back. Highly recommend
I had the lamb.. seven hundred and fifty grams. Succulent meat, rich and full of flavor. Cooked well, as meat should be. Truth be told, it was more than a man needs. Five hundred grams would have been the wiser choice. The prices are a bit high… but the meal earns its coin. With açık ayran beside it, cold and sharp, it was simply good.
