I truly loved this restaurant in the heart of Galata area. The ambiance and vibe was lovely. The food super fresh and very Italian 😂… my daughter and I had a lovely dinner on our last night in Istanbul … the brûlée and tiramisu was yummy ❤️
The restaurant is super cute and pretty, and the food is good (but not great). Gelato is very good but portions are small. The prices are also much higher than other restaurants in the area. The atmosphere commands the higher pricing. The large misting fans and the pretty kedi were a bonus.
We were just walking by, and suddenly felt that this was the best place for dinner. And we were absolutely right. The whole atmosphere is so beautiful, like you are traveling in time. Thanks to Davut, who provided professional and thoughtful service. And the food! Oh! It was perfectly cooked, well-balanced, tasty, and fresh. Risotto and panna cotta were my fav highlights. We are definitely coming back for more.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights and had breakfast here every morning. The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of fresh and delicious food every day. Hakan was our server each morning, and he made every breakfast even more enjoyable. He was always warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. He remembered us each day and made sure we had everything we needed.
I was walking by IL CORTILE looking for a sunglasses store I'd seen in the past, and I was immediately captured by the beautiful outdoor terrace as I glanced inside. I decided to come in for something sweet and was warmly greeted by a nice young man named Salih. He walked me through the dessert menu options and I decided to try the cannoli, because I was a weak spot for good custard! We paired it with a chai tea and I was blown away by the crunchiness of the pastry, it just flaked apart beautifully! The custard was velvety and not overly sweet, and the sweet acidity of the berries and berry compote added another dimension to the taste. Weave in the beautiful white terrace and soft, relaxing music, and it became an experience I wont essily forget. Simply a great way to spend one of my few remaining days in Istanbul. Thank you, Salih and all the other staff 🙏🏻❤️
