Incredible view and food 10/10. All food was tasty and fresh but probably the best chicken I've ever had, tavouk shish kebab. Service provided by Yusuf was extraordinary. Very attentive and genuinely caring, making sure we are happy at every moment. Everlasting memories! Thank you Yusuf and team at Carlos!
One of my favorite places in Istanbul. The rooftop view by the sea is absolutely beautiful, especially in the evening. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was really good and everything tasted fresh. We had a great time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food with an amazing view.
We had such an amazing Turkish dining experience at Carlos Terrace Restaurant in Istanbul tonight. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and ushered to the elevators to the terrace. We felt like we were family and were taken care of from our drinks to the delicious dessert. The entire staff at Carlos Terrace Restaurant were so warm and helpful. Ibo recommended the Testi Kebabi; Turkish clay pot dish slow cooked Anatolian stew baked in earthenware vessel and lit on fire and broken at our table. What a unique fire show with sparklers! 🎆 We were going to order just the Turkish Baklava for dessert but Ibo brought us a nice mix of Turkish Baklava with ice cream and Katmer (Turkish Pistachio Pastry). It was a perfect ending to a great evening. We made our dinner reservation a month before arriving in Istanbul primarily for the beautiful views of the Blue Mosque. The views were incredible and the staff were so gracious in taking our pictures. It was truly Instagram worthy! 👍🥰 Ibo topped off our evening by dressing us up in Turkish tradition wardrobe with the backdrop of the Blue Mosque! WOW!!!! Thank you so much Ibo and team at Carlos Terrace Restaurant for a memorable and delicious evening! Highly recommended dining experience when visiting Istanbul! 🇹🇷😁
I dined at a wonderful rooftop establishment with epic sea and historical sweeping views. I think the word on the street is this greedy gal loves Turkish cuisine. LOL 😅I am on day 73 of 77 in Türkiye! There's nothing like authentic Turkish cuisine! It's a foodie's paradise! I had a delicious, fresh and flavorful meal with outstanding and top tier customer service! The staff was always pleasant, professional, friendly and accommodating. My compliments to the chef! 👌🏽😋 They were true gentlemen and guided me up to the terrace. They also care about your dining experience by checking up with you. The Turkish hospitality is unlike any in other countries that I have ever been to. In Türkiye, they ensure you feel welcomed, comfortable, satisfied and happy. Their professionalism and customer service is next level and I love that! This is why I will revisit this country. I was pleased with them and very happy they recommended eating on the terrace because the views were like scenes from a movie. My experience was worth every kilometer traveled. 🇹🇷🌍🫶🏽🙏🏽😍
Lovely authentic Turkish spot with a beautiful rooftop terrace. There’s a great view of the Blue Mosque and the sea. Perfect for photos and a relaxed dinner atmosphere. We ordered the mixed kebab for two, and it was delicious with a very generous portion. Turkish coffee was strong and good. What made the experience even better were the complimentary treats: yogurt dip with bread, tea, baklava, and ice cream. Such a nice touch. Overall, great food, amazing views, and warm hospitality. Definitely worth visiting!
