The atmosphere in this place is absolutely magical. The international menu includes delicious dishes inspired by different countries & cultures. What makes this place truly unique is its travelers spirit. The owner is a famous backpacker who has literally been to every country, sometimes taking members of the staff to travel with him around the world, and videos from their trips are shown on the screens to inspire locals to travel and explore. This is honestly one of the most unique places I have found, not only in Istanbul but anywhere in Turkey. The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially Deniz. She is incredibly welcoming, remembers your name and your usual order, and makes you feel right at home. I rarely find service this warm and attentive anywhere else, and she is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Great food, a wonderful atmosphere, lovely people with beautiful energy and a genuine passion for travel and meeting people from all around the world. I highly recommend it.
What a cozy place to chill and rest. We had breakfast here as a family of four. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! Nice atmosphere with nice view. We had such a pleasant time with our two children. We’ll definitely come back for dinner and drinks.
Great spot for dinner. We went twice during our stay and the second time we caught a Premier League soccer game on TV. Menu had lots of food and drink choices- falafel, chicken fried rice, Ceasar salad, pizzas and beer, wine and cocktails etc. Really warm and welcoming atmosphere with flags hanging from around the world. I highly recommend this spot!
I enjoyed a fresh, delicious, and nutritious breakfast at this wonderful restaurant! The ambiance is warm, welcoming and vibrant. I had a table looking out at the almighty Bosphorus Strait. 😍The ceiling decor is donned with flags from all over the world! I loved the relaxing jazz music too. By the way, I'm learning more Turkish whilst eating. The word Gezgin means traveler which is very apropos because this ancient metropolitan city sees many globetrotters like myself. The staff is professional, friendly and accommodating. It is worth every kilometer traveled.🌍🇹🇷🫶🏽🙏🏽😍
A wonderful atmosphere really neat environment with flags hanging on the ceiling and the walk up the staircase and into the front of the bar has cups on the ceilings and beer, Steins and dolls hang on the ceiling …on the ledge around the bar for the breakfast area. The breakfast area is beautiful overlooking the bosphorous …fobetween two buildings but pleasant ..there is 19 7080 French bistro music going with calm jazzy tones also the decor had license plate plates on the wall with old ad advertisements from when I was a kid and from the us New Jersey. Hawaii .. metal signs really neat nostalgic as far as the breakfast the breakfast was the top of the four restaurants I’ve eaten since I’ve arrived in Turkey five days ago I would highly recommend this location. The egg dish traditional Turkish minimum was well seasoned with tomato eggs and other cut vegetables. My eggs and sausage were perfectly done with butter and medium over easy with the Turkish sausage cheese six pieces. The bread was incredible and fresh. It was a ordered the minimum and the eggs and Turkish meat and found the value to be very good with 240 lira for the minimum and 260 for the Turkish sausage. Tea is complementary and the bread is outstanding with a brown bread and a fruit brown bread, native of turkey wonderful taste. This is the fourth minimum we’ve had in Turkey, and this minimum is ranking above the best so far
