Great views and service. Came on a Wednesday night, it was quiet but the atmosphere is on the fancier side, not too lively, which is also reflected in the prices. Each cocktail was 935 lira, which makes sense for the location and it being a rooftop bar, but this cocktail would be 800 lira in normal bars around Istiklal and probably less than 600 lira in less central areas in Istanbul. However, it was delicious and with a nice presentation! Come here for a romantic date.
What a beautiful restaurant! We waited at the roof top until our table was ready. There the people were dancing and the DJ was playing music and you had a beautiful view over the city. The food, specially the meat was excellent! The pistachios kebab was my favourite but also loved the artichoke starter. Only the mezze plate was not great but the main dishes were so so good! During dinner, a girl came to play the violin and omg, she was sooo talented and played some of my favourite songs! Amazing!
I really wanted to love a rooftop breakfast experience here, but quite a few things let it down. First of all, don’t believe the opening times shown in Google. It is not 8 am… I got there at 8:30, only to be told that they opened at 9 am,and the actual rooftop was closed, but the sixth floor restaurant was open. It wasn’t in fact, until 9 am. The waiter was friendly enough, but the thing that really got me was that after 9 am, as I was enjoying the view with my coffee, while I was waiting for my breakfast…. The cleaning lady started vacuuming all around me, and the whole room. I am talking over twenty minutes of loud vacuuming essentially right on top of me, which kind of killed the vibe! The answer to all the noise, was to turn up the music even louder! It would have been funny if it wasn’t so rude…. Anyhow, after twenty minutes, with my breakfast being served, she finally stopped the vacuuming….. sweet relief I thought! Only to have her start up with the mopping of the floor. I mean, maybe this could be done when there aren’t guests in the breakfast room? Like maybe when it’s closed? The food was good, but took a long time to come. As I was waiting, I asked for a tea, which never came. I then reminded the waiter about 10 minutes later, and it did eventually arrive. So is the view nice? Yes. Would I go back? No. There are lots of places that have nice rooftop views in Istanbul. Recommend finding one that opens when advertised, and one that doesn’t have someone vacuuming and mopping under your feet!
Lovely views over Istanbul especially as the sun sets. Lots of seating, smoking allowed, music plays through speakers. Steep steps from restaurant to get to rooftop bar. Great service & staff can't do enough for you. Only marked down from 5 to 4 stars as I thought drinks were too expensive
The restaurant decorations and location and the views, the food, the service is PHENOMENAL! It is walking dostance from our hotel and we were so glad they take reservations! As soon as we got the the restaurant, the cutest Van Gogh theme background stood out to us! We came in, seated right away and we went up to the rooftop to check out the view! It was absolutely beautiful during sunset! We got our drinks and food fairly decent amount of time but you can’t rush perfection! Everything was about $200 something and with the amount we ordered, it is very good price! Our cocktail was delicious, it was pretty fruity which I love and my friend order wine and it was a generous amount! I order the Nevet Cazbashi and it was to died for, the beef was so soft and greatly seasoned I would deff order it again. You cannot go wrong with anything that you ordered!
