We had dinner at Rainbow Fish & Meat Restaurant today, and it was one of the highlights of our evening! The location is wonderful. We were taking a walk along the waterfront and happened to pass by this restaurant, and we’re so happy we decided to stop here. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming. The outdoor terrace offers beautiful views, making it the perfect place to enjoy dinner. The food was delicious! We’d especially like to recommend the seafood mix and the meze—both were absolutely amazing. The drinks were also excellent. Our daughter even drank more than one glass of lemonade for the first time ever, which says a lot! 😊 The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. They also introduced us to the traditional Turkish anise-flavored spirit, Rakı. It was our first time trying it, and we really enjoyed the experience! We highly recommend Rainbow Fish & Meat Restaurant to anyone visiting the area. We’re sure you’ll leave as happy and satisfied as we did!🥰👍
We had a wonderful experience at Rainbow Fish & Meat Restaurant. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special thanks to the manager and the entire team — their professionalism, kindness, and teamwork were amazing. They made sure we had a memorable dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious seafood and great hospitality near Sultanahmet!
11/22/24 Great vibes and a fun owner made the meal special. The rainbow kabob came with a show, firecrackers and flaming oil out front to perform for the people. The gentleman at the front was kind and funny I ordered the fish soup, grilled halloumi, and sea bass giovanni My sister and dad got Lentil Soup and Tomato Soup, as well as shrimp. Complementary pita bread was soft and slightly warm, came alongside olive butter Halloumi was nice, chewy, and salty; best pomegranate sauce with it 4/5 Fish soup: great, different - very filling 4/5 Lentil soup: just like daal 4/5 Tomato soup: a little too thin for my tastes but still good 3/5 Sea Bass Giovanni: 5/5 so tender, unique, and creamy; presentation also beautiful Rice Pilaf: 5/5 great flavor and texture Shrimp: fine 3/5 Overall a 5/5, great experience, great food, great people
Very good food and the music volume was just right—loud enough to enjoy but quiet enough to talk. The staff is incredibly friendly and the pacing of the meal was spot on. They didn't rush us at all; they even asked if we were ready for dessert or if we wanted to wait a bit longer to digest. It is refreshing to visit a place that doesn't just try to hurry you out for the next customer. Highly recommended!
Best meal we had in Istanbul! Mustafa was a great server! We enjoyed every bite and Monica the restaurants cat took a nap on our laps. Beautiful outdoor seating with heaters. Got complimentary tea and baklava at the end of the night! ❤️
