A very pleasant restaurant to visit in all aspects. The food is delicious and comes in a beautiful presentation with big portions- perfect for sharing. If you have any allergy specifications the staff will ask you and come up with a solution so you can still enjoy the dishes. Kadir, who attended us, was very professional, attentive and kind. He made sure to meet our allergy specifications, contacted the chef and offered ways to modify the dish so we could still enjoy all the food. In the end we enjoyed our meal very much thanks to him. The ambience is also welcoming with a warm glow, good music in a nice volume, and a lot of plants all around. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re in Istanbul and want a memorable experience.
This was such a romantic and charming place. The customer service was incredible, the music created a lovely atmosphere, and everything, from the cleanliness to the ambience was a 10/10. It felt like the perfect spot for a date night. The food was really good, although I wouldn’t say it was exceptional. The fresh bread they served was delicious, and the baba ganoush was one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried their signature chicken pot, which was presented with a fun flame effect and made for a really nice experience. The portion sizes were generous, and to top it all off, they served complimentary tea at the end of the meal, which was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I’d definitely recommend it for the atmosphere and service alone.
Words cannot do enough justice to explain the excellent service of staff operating this restaurant! The service is Superb! I have been to many places were the restaurant staff are friendly (probably part of the job), but you can feel the friendliness at this place is GENUINE! Special thanks to Emre, Kadir, and the manager for ensuring the experience is great, the time spent is pleasant, the service is unmatched, and above all the food is great with generous treatment! The place really looks nice too! Keep it up, Very Good job!
Perfect first impression of Istanbul restaurants. The main is the food and its great. Big portions and very tasty. And the service is wonderful also. Liza (our waiter) was very polite and friendly, we were asked about allergies, everything was prepared fast and delightful. We also got many complimentary food, so we were full until the night) Beautiful place ✨
I had a wonderful experience at the Garden 1897 Istanbul restaurant! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the meal even more enjoyable. On top of that, the atmosphere was fantastic: cozy, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed dining experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better visit and will definitely be back. Staff members Mine and Bariş did an excellent job of making sure that the meal was the best.
