We had a wonderful dining experience at this Italian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the beautiful view made the evening even more enjoyable. A special thank you to our waiter, Ahmet, for his kindness, attentive service, and quick assistance throughout our meal.
Zeffirino is one of my favorite dining experiences in Istanbul. Located in Ortaköy directly on the Bosphorus, the restaurant offers stunning views of the Bosphorus Bridge, the historic Ortaköy Mosque, and the waters leading toward the Marmara Sea. The menu is exceptional, and it's hard to go wrong with any selection. Some of my favorites include the Focaccina al Formaggio e Pesto di Zeffirino, Pizza with Bresaola, Fior di Latte, Spinach and Parmesan, Tatin alla Portofino, Insalata Croccante di Avocado e Caprino, Penne al Pesto di Zeffirino, the famous Paffutelli alla Frank, and the Saltimbocca di Vitello with beef prosciutto and smoked scamorza. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with recommendations. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it suitable for both special occasions and relaxed evenings. The DJ provides tasteful music that complements the Italian dining experience without overpowering conversation. If you're looking for excellent Italian cuisine paired with one of the most beautiful waterfront views in Istanbul, Zeffirino is absolutely worth a visit.
Incredible experience, our waiter Ali was extremely helpful and very friendly. Food was all delicious, the outside area is directly overlooking the Bosporus. The pistachio gelato was especially great, highly recommend!
We went there in the evening and made a reservation about an hour before arriving. We were greeted very warmly, and the hostess was extremely pleasant. While we were sitting, the temperature would sometimes change, and whenever we felt cold, we asked to turn on the heater. They were very attentive and even offered us blankets, which was a really nice touch. All the food was absolutely delicious. When we placed our order, we actually made a mistake, but despite that, they kindly replaced the dish with what we originally wanted. They didn’t charge us anything extra and even apologized, even though it was completely our fault. Another thing worth mentioning is that the restaurant doesn’t include a service charge or expect tips, but we still decided to leave 10% of the bill because we truly appreciated the service. The place itself was very pleasant, with a great atmosphere and a stunning view of the city, the bridge, and the mosque. When we were leaving, they also helped us stop a taxi and made sure we got one without any trouble. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
We had a truly enjoyable evening at Zeffirino, a wonderful Italian restaurant. The staff were exceptionally attentive, warm, and professional, going above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout the night. The food was both high-quality and delicious, complemented by beautiful wines. Paired with the unique Bosphorus view, the whole experience felt elevated. It’s definitely a top-level dining option in Istanbul and a place we’d love to visit again.
