I had dinner at Visorante. I heard lots of good things about it, but didn’t expect it to be that good. If you can’t find a reservation try a walk-in it might work. The atmosphere was relaxed and the music was nice. The service is great, the staff is friendly and professional. Especial thanks to the museler Emre for his great service.
One of my favourite place for special evening. I like here every detail - especially plates. The restaurant feels unique and sooo cozy. This is incredible good place when your friends come to visit isntabul or for your date or some anniversary. I’ve visited too many high-end places in Istanbul, but still I’m choosing Visorante, because I feel here smth special inside. Also wanna add I don’t like Nite - another restaurant on the same roof. So this place is not only about view, because Nite has the same, but there is no good atmosphere inside
It started off very well: we were given a great table without a reservation, which was a wonderful first impression. The cocktails were truly outstanding — I rarely have such a good Cosmopolitan — and the first appetizer was a real flavor explosion that I will not forget anytime soon. Unfortunately, things went downhill after that. The second appetizer we ordered was completely forgotten and never arrived. The salmon we had as a main course was a joke: the fish was so dry that I honestly wondered if it had been reheated multiple times. The lentils served with it were bland and tasteless. With some salt and a lot of lemon, we managed to eat about half of it. The veal fillet was unfortunately not cooked medium as requested, which makes me question why guests are even asked how they want their meat prepared. The side dish, however, was very good and nicely composed with a variety of ingredients. The tiramisu tasted more like whipped cream than mascarpone and felt more like an interpretation than a classic tiramisu. I would come back for the view, the cocktails, and the first appetizer only — the rest was, unfortunately, disappointing.
It’s very nice and the view is spectacular. However, it is very expensive and honestly not worth the price. That said, the young person working at the reception was amazing, he literally saved me by giving me his charger when my phone had no battery at all. He was extremely kind and helpful. That is the main reason I’m giving 5 stars instead of 4. Despite the high prices, I would still visit again, but it is definitely overpriced.
the food is good but is too expensive for that they serve. they try to a fine dining restaurant but they fail. the light is not placed how it supposed to be in a fine dining restaurant. the windows are dirty, you can’t enjoy your view at all, why i would come to eat there if i wouldn’t want to enjoy my dinner with a beautiful view? and also if we couldn’t order a lot of thing from the drink’s menu because “we don’t have it, is an old menu” why you give me an old menu??? just to see the old menu or what??
