Two different vibes, amazing food, and… resident cats! We visited Fish Home Ahır Kapı Restaurant in early April, and it became a highlight of our trip. The place caters to different crowds depending on the evening’s mood. The front is lively with music, attracting tourists and locals looking for fun. Since we dined with children, we moved to the back, which is charming with antique decor, brick walls, and a cozy fireplace. On a rainy evening, sitting there while listening to the rain was perfect. The back area is also home to friendly, casually wandering cats, adding to the charm. If you love animals or want some entertainment for kids, this makes the dinner special. The food was excellent. We ordered their fresh daily catch— a must—seasoned well and not overly spicy. The kids finished their plates, a big win. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive. Whether for lively music or a cozy family dinner with cats, this place is a treasure. Highly recommended!
We have found this spot by pure accident, when we were walking alongside the seaside. What we enjoyed is the part where there were no people shouting at us in russian or other languages, how it was in other places. The owner was very kind and nice, the overall ambiance is great, peaceful and friendly. Would recommend, also there were a few cat guest, enjoying the meal with us. :)
We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly caring and attentive, and the service was outstanding. We would absolutely love to come back. Thank you so much! This restaurants boasts one of the highest a lot of reviews and now I know why. From the fish soup to the calamari and of course sea brass I was seriously blown away how delicious the food is. This is a 12/10 for me. They also provide free ice cream, baklava and tea after you finish your Meal.
We had an absolutely unforgettable experience at this place. From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by the atmosphere — everything made of wood and stone, beautifully decorated, warm and authentic, with a stunning aquarium inside that made the space feel magical and peaceful. The food was simply incredible — full of flavour, perfectly prepared, and clearly made with love and care. Every dish was a delight. What truly made this place special, though, was the staff. So kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly — they made us feel at home from the first minute. To finish the experience, they surprised us with amazing tea, delicious desserts, and even thoughtful little gifts 🎁 — a gesture that touched our hearts and made the evening even more memorable. A place full of beauty, warmth, and soul. We will remember this experience forever and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended 💛✨
