Food is amazing need to try the pide … need too. Service is even better miss merve recommended food drink and her understanding of the menu is outstanding. I’m so lucky to have met her. Atmosphere can’t go wrong too
Amazing place!!! We were welcomed immediately by the waiter and he showed us around the restaurant so that we could decide where we wanted to sit. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, both on the inside and on the terrace. It is located in an old hammam and it definitely still has a very traditional and authentic look. After our order, we received a delicious appetiser. The dishes were presented beautifully and the waiters explained each dish carefully. The taste was also really good. The waiters even gave us tea without us asking and we received a small soap sample set when we left. It truly was an amazing experience visiting this restaurant and a highlight of the day!
YASIN made our evening! He waited on us hand and foot. Took such incredible care of us, felt like he treated us like family. Food was superb and ambience was divine. Such a special place. If you book well ahead, ask for a table outside. Charming upstairs courtyard but all areas are nice. Wonderful atmosphere in an historic hamam. We asked Yasin his favourites and ordered all of them. One of the best meals we’ve ever had! Expensive but totally worth it. Generously provided amuse bouche and a petit four at the end. GREAT music playlist too. Plus the person who kindly arranged our reservation was so patient and helpful. Fantastic client management - we were very impressed!
Beautiful location, very historical, great for romantic dinner. Food was an elevated twist in Turkish staples, and some of the best desserts I ever had in my life. Must tries are their take on the baklava (insane) and the dulce de leche. Service was also very accommodating but it could be a bit more friendlier for such a fine dining experience.
Lolkante 1741 is an absolute gem in Istanbul’s dining scene — and so much more than just a restaurant. We started our visit with an authentic session at the Cagaloglu Hamam, housed right within the same building, before sitting down for a family lunch that completely blew us away. The Turkish cuisine here is on another level — bold, vibrant flavors built on impeccably fresh ingredients. It’s not just a meal, it’s a full cultural experience. The staff was super attentive without ever being intrusive. A true double spoiling — Cagaloglu Hamam bliss followed by a firework of taste. Highly recommended!
