At first, I thought Delâriye would be just another beautiful historic restaurant, relying mostly on its location and charming atmosphere. But I was pleasantly surprised. The kitchen is led by a truly talented chef who knows exactly how to reinterpret classic Ottoman cuisine with a modern touch while preserving its authenticity. The staff were exceptionally polite, professional, and well-trained. Special thanks to Mr. Pablo for his excellent recommendations, which made the experience even better. The menu design is elegant and thoughtfully crafted, and every dish we tried had a unique presentation and unforgettable flavor. If you’re looking for a refined and contemporary interpretation of Ottoman cuisine, Delâriye is definitely a restaurant worth experiencing. Highly recommended.
Deraliye is one of the highlights of my trip to Istanbul! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, and the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. A special thank you to Zeydon, who provided excellent service and made my dining experience even more enjoyable. On the staff’s recommendation, I tried the Tarhana Soup with cherry and the Terkib- I Mutancana, and both were absolutely incredible. The flavors were unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before—a perfect balance of sweet and savory that introduced me to a whole new side of Ottoman cuisine. Everything from the food to the hospitality exceeded my expectations. I definitely plan on coming back the next time I’m in Istanbul and would highly recommend Deraliye to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience.
Without exaggeration, this was one of the best meals we have ever had in our lives. Every single dish was absolutely incredible. The flavors were rich, complex, and unlike anything we have tasted before. Each bite felt like discovering something new. The food was not only delicious, it was unforgettable. Dining here truly made us feel like sultans. You can tell that every dish is inspired by the incredible history and traditions of Ottoman cuisine. It felt as if we had stepped back in time and were experiencing the meals once enjoyed in the imperial palaces. The restaurant itself is beautiful and full of atmosphere, but the real star is the food. Everything was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. This meal was worth every single cent. We would return to Istanbul just to eat here again. If you are looking for an authentic, memorable, and truly exceptional dining experience, this place is an absolute must. Simply put: delicious, delicious, delicious, delicious, delicious. One of the best restaurants we have ever visited anywhere in the world. ❤️
It was such a unique experience. You could actually taste the history through the courses. There was something really quite amazing about the dishes here that's so different to everywhere else. From the appetizers to the main to the tea afterwards. There was no disappointments. It's really deserving of the Michelin star and the chef's hats. The goose had no flavour of gamimess at all and so perfectly cooked. As was the fried beef kebap with yoghurt. And the sauce was so well balanced it's pretty amazing. They even had traditional ottoman clothing you could take some pictures with! Definitely worth coming here. And I'll be coming back!
A truly wonderful restaurant. Experiencing Ottoman palace cuisine here was a real pleasure. I tasted traditional dishes that were absolutely delicious. Harun, who took care of us, was an amazing person—very kind, helpful, and attentive. His recommendations and friendly service made the experience even better. I would like to congratulate him and the entire team for creating such a unique and memorable experience. The flavors were outstanding. Don’t forget to enjoy a cup of tea after your meal.
