This restaurant completely blew us away. Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious. Every single dish we tried was packed with flavor and crafted to perfection.Beyond the exceptional food, the views are absolutely beautiful and provide the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal.What truly elevated our evening, though, was our outstanding server, Turkes. He was so incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. His flawless hospitality made us feel truly welcome, and he absolutely deserves a perfect 10/10 rating.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ali Ocakbaşı was one of the highlights of our time in Istanbul. Every dish was full of flavour, but the standout was the lamb—it was incredibly tender, perfectly cooked, and easily some of the best we’ve ever had. We couldn’t leave without trying dessert, and we’re so glad we did. It was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to finish the meal. The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional. If you’re visiting Istanbul, this place is an absolute must-visit. Eyup Aydin was the best waiter! Full of conversation and jokes.
Eyup took good care of us. He gave excellent menu choices. We're really happy with his recommendations. Lovely food, superb service, and nice views of the strait. Will go back again if I visit İstanbul again. Worth a trip over to Karakoy. Deserves a michelin star.
Overall just a perfect experience. We didn't have a reservation and still got a great table with a stunning view. The service, especially Bersam, was just incredibly friendly and nice, very attentive and professional. The food is exceptional, both in taste and presentation. This restaurant and their staff perfectly reflect the kindness and culture of turkish people. As a tourist, this is the place to go for a great evening.
We had an amazing experience at Ali Ocakbaşı Karaköy. The customer service was exceptional, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and clearly prepared with care. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. The ambiance elevated the entire experience, complemented by a stunning view of Galata Bridge, making the atmosphere even more memorable. It is the perfect spot for both relaxed dining and special occasions. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back again.
