I visited Antique Pizzeria, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant has an incredible aesthetic, and it's one of those places where the atmosphere is just as enjoyable as the food. Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are beautifully designed. Whether you choose to sit inside or outside, the ambience is warm, elegant, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Every corner of the restaurant feels thoughtfully decorated, making it a great spot for photos, a date, or a meal with friends. The food was delicious, and I found myself enjoying not only the meal but also the overall atmosphere. One of the highlights of the evening was a live violin performance, which added a special touch to the experience and created a memorable, sophisticated ambience.
Right in the heart of the historic Taksim neighborhood, surrounded by traditional rakı restaurants, local shops, and the famous Istiklal Street, I stumbled upon this little Italian gem. No fuss, no showmanship—just simple, honest, high-quality Italian food served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere by an incredibly kind team. It’s refreshing to see places like this still thriving. Whether it’s the charm of the old building, the live music on certain evenings, or simply the consistently good food, it has gradually become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving Italian in the neighborhood. And their wine selection definitely won me over. If you’re looking for great value for money, a relaxed atmosphere, and a place that delivers every time, this is well worth a visit.
A much needed break from Turkish cuisine for the three of us on our extended stay in Istanbul. The service was excellent: just the right mix of attentiveness yet chatty and friendly. The food was all excellent from our bruschetta starter, through the pasta and salmon main to our shared dessert. Plus a welcome beer and glass of wine. Really enjoyed the calm feel of the outside dining terrace while watching the vibrant, hectic street scene. Slightly more expensive than other nights (maybe 30€ more than our average) but so worthwhile, my favourite restaurant in our 10 days to date and will definitely be returning.
We had an amazing experience at Antique Pizzeria. The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The service was just as impressive: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without being over the top. And the space itself? Beautiful. The atmosphere is stylish and perfectly put together, making the whole experience feel special from start to finish. Definitely a place worth visiting if you appreciate great food and a well-curated vibe
Visited Antique Pizzeria and was immediately won over not just by the food, but by the people. The interior is stunning, filled with antiques that give it a really unique and cozy character unlike anywhere else in the area. I ordered the Tortellini, which was genuinely delicious well made and satisfying. But the highlight of my visit was honestly Faiyaz, one of the staff members. He was incredibly warm and welcoming, asking where we were from and making genuine conversation. That kind of personal touch makes such a difference it felt like being hosted by a friend, not just served at a restaurant. We were treated to a complimentary coffee, which was a lovely and unexpected gesture. I had been hoping the tiramisu would also come complimentary and I’d heard it sometimes does but I ended up ordering it myself. No regrets at all, it was absolutely worth every bite. The whole experience the food, the atmosphere, the hospitality comes together beautifully here. Faiyaz, if you’re reading this, you made my visit truly special.
