Cozy place that serves chef quality food. Everything I tried was tasty.
The place offers a beautiful botanical scenery. I seated myself outside. Unfortunately the tables were taking up all leg space and were pretty sticky. I did not like the service. First the waiter tried to push me into buying multiple starters, but then only one was served. I assume that this was due to language barrier, which is fine. But if you indicate that, then there is always a way to communicate. On top it was not a very warm service. The food was okay, but honestly no more than that. My green salad was fresh, but really few ingredients and not overly interesting. The fennel-/cuttlefish stew was a potpourri of interesting ingredients, but to me lacked a clear concept. The flavours were all over the place. A bit disappointed in my experience with apartiman.
Excellent cocktails and the best AperolSprtitz. Great service, excellent food. Slow cooked lamb is succulent and tasty. Amazing fava and the prawn toast is one of a kind.
This was one of the most exciting and inspiring meals I had in 2025. From the simplest to most complex, every single dish was executed cleverly. Very creative use of flavours and excellent delivery.
Hands down my favorite restaurant in Istanbul, and I’ve been to many. For the food, we ordered the following: -Mixed green salad: perfectly crisp and fresh greens with good quality dressing -Beets: best beets I’ve ever had. The orange dressing they add is excellent. -Fava: creamy and smooth, perfect execution of a traditional turkish mezze -Shrimp toast: MUST ORDER. One of the most memorable bites I’ve ever had. I could eat 50. -Duck: this was my least favorite but it was still very good. Original take on a pita sandwich. To drink, I got the orange/natural wine. Excellent. Service is discreet and understated, yet kind and efficient. The restaurant feels like a calm oasis in the middle of a crazy busy city. Very well deserving of its inclusion in the Michelin guide. In fact- better and tastier than some Michelin starred places I’ve eaten at elsewhere in Europe.
