This restaurant was the highlight of our experience in Istanbul. The food is authentic and delicious, every dish comes with a unique flavour that made us want to continue eating even though we were full. The service is quick, polite and attentive. As the only vegetarian in the group I was well taken care of by the staff who kept bringing me many vegetable dishes. I think this type of cuisine is very accessible to many dietary restrictions since there’s something for everyone (from meat esters to vegans). If you want to have the opportunity to talk to locals, enjoy Turkish hospitality and amazing food- this is your place.
We did take seat indoors to avoid motorbikes and pedestrians noice. This place looks like museum inside: big wooden tables and benches - great for friends and large families. Fantastic service, juicy kebabs, great variety of fresh, pickled, roasted and pate type vegetable dishes as side. Great presentation. The price was ok too for the amount of food we were getting. If exhausted by summer heat, ask their ayran sour milk drink- it’s the best source of electrolytes and heals your thirst instantly!
Amazing food! We are bit sad to find out this amazing restaurant on our last night in Istanbul... It is the best restaurant we ever had in last 5 days in Istanbul. Good quantity of meat, super tasty side dish, and awesome atmosphere. Everyone is happy and enjoying their food in the restaurant. Highly recommended, must try it out 🥰🥰🥰
Had a wonderful time trying out Turkish food here! We ordered the 10-small-dishes set, and everything was flavorful. The atmosphere is very cozy and the overall experience was great. Because it’s right in the heart of a popular tourist spot, the prices are a little on the higher side, but it was absolutely worth it for the convenience and the quality. Highly recommend it if you want to sample a variety of authentic Turkish dishes
This was such a good meal! No frills, just honest good grill! The food gets served super fast and you get it warm and with loads of bread. The meat is super juicy, especially the beef was phenomenal. It felt like a firework explosion in your mouth. My partner and I looked at eachother and said: We need to come back here! What a fabulous place!!!
