very delicious Turkish food😋 owners are lovely and welcoming. enjoyed our dinner very much. Definitely have to try ayran, meat dishes are superb.
I have to say the food was absolutely delicious. The kavurma and rice were especially impressive. The artichoke dish also deserves a special mention—it was really tasty. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I noticed they genuinely greeted customers with a smile and took good care of them. I’ll definitely be coming back.
The service was warm and attentive, thanks to the two women who guided us through the Turkish dishes with real care. Everything we tried was delicious, and the atmosphere of the place is beautiful—you can truly feel the tradition in every detail. It felt welcoming, almost like being at home.
Kuzguncuk Kavurmacısı – A Must-Stop for Home-Cooked Turkish Food My wife and I are visiting Istanbul for several days, and some of her friends recommended a few cafés in the Kuzguncuk area. Once we arrived, we realized those cafés were nice for coffee but not really suitable for lunch, so we started looking for somewhere to eat. That’s how we found Kuzguncuk Kavurmacısı—and we’re very glad we did. The reviews were solid, so we decided to give it a try. It worked out perfectly because my wife wanted a traditional Turkish breakfast, while I was ready for a proper lunch. This place delivers on both. The restaurant itself is small, quaint, and full of charm, run by a very sweet husband-and-wife couple who clearly put care into what they serve. You immediately feel welcomed, like you’ve stepped into a neighborhood kitchen rather than a tourist restaurant. My wife said it was the best version of a Turkish breakfast she’s had in a very long time, and I had a really satisfying lunch—simple, flavorful, and clearly home-cooked. Nothing fancy, just honest food done right. Prices are very fair, portions are generous, and the quality speaks for itself. Bottom line: If you’re in Kuzguncuk and want authentic, home-style Turkish food made with care, this is an absolute must-stop. Highly recommended.
