We are a couple staying nearby at TAN hotel, we came here on our first night and made sure to come back on our last night. My partner is a foodie and the fact she really enjoyed this place should be reccomendation enough. From my perspective I can also assure you will be looked after from start to finish if you visit this restaurant. Things we really enjoyed: 1) The complimentary turkish bread, dips, tea and baklava are all included. 2) food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We had the adana kebab twice (as it was so nice). 3) the price felt right, and not over the top with mains around 5-600 TL, especially when considering it included all the little extras. Needles to say, we hope to come back a third time.
We’ve enjoyed this spot in the Sultanahmet are several times. A few just got a cold beer to cool off and relax a bit. We also had a great dinner here while watching the Champions League final. We got hummus as an appetizer and the large kabob platter for two. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is great. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and will be back!
Wonderful place with an authentic atmosphere! The food was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. The portions are large and definitely worth it. The service was outstanding — the staff was kind, welcoming, and very attentive. The ambiance is very pleasant and blends perfectly with the spirit of Istanbul. We would definitely visit again!
What a wonderful dining experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. The owner is an excellent manager who clearly takes pride in both the restaurant and the guests’ experience. For dinner, we had the sea bass, anchovies, and chicken shish, and every dish was absolutely impeccable—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into the food. We are so glad we chose to come here. To make the evening even more special, they treated us to delicious chai and baklava at the end of our meal, which was such a thoughtful touch. Outstanding food, warm hospitality, and exceptional service. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience!
The food are delicious with reasonable price. They even give us extra dessert and free tea without service fee. The staffs are nice and helpful. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for everyone who wanna try traditional turkish food.
