Eleos has been my favorite place for many years, I love the food and their offerings. My best is topic and grilled 🐙 octopus- the service has been great always over more than 5 years
What a wonderful place! Such a stunning view and atmosphere and service here! So many complimentary things were served! The attitude of the staff is brilliant, they are so attentive to the details And the food…OH MY GOD! How tasty it was, literally everything! The grilled octopus is 100/100! The grilled shrimps and the salads are also amazing! Such a nice atmosphere and food is out of the world! Wish this place all the best!
Absolutely hidden gem in Istanbul. Tucked away on the second floor of a residential building, Eleos Restaurant feels like a secret spot you’re lucky to discover. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is incredible — elegant, warm, and with unbeatable views over the city and the Bosphorus. The food was spectacular. The octopus was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious, and the prawns were full of flavour and incredibly fresh. Every dish felt carefully prepared and high quality. And definitely save room for dessert — totally worth it. The service was top notch throughout the entire evening: attentive, friendly, and professional without being overwhelming. One of those places you leave already wanting to come back to. Highly recommended.
We had an absolutely lovely evening at Eleos Beyoğlu. From the moment we walked into the historic Hıdivyal Palas, we knew we were in for a treat. The meal was a masterclass in fresh, Aegean-inspired flavors. We ordered several appetizers and warm starters to share. The Anchovy with sauce, the fried zucchini, prawn with butter, and the sea bass were all very good! Their signature Eleos salad, was extremely fresh with prawns, anchovies and mussels although I would prefer if the vinaigrette was less citrus. For our mains, we shared the grilled sea bass - incredibly fresh and grilled to perfection. We finished the night on a sweet note with their semolina cake, which was the perfect traditional end to the feast. A special shout-out to our waiter, Ali and the rest of the service team! His service was friendly, warm, and added a personal touch that made our dinner feel even more special. Overall, with its incredible views and top-tier seafood, Eleos is a must-visit. Between the delicious food and the great hospitality from Ali, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Greek dining experience in Istanbul.
Eleos Restaurant in Istanbul offers very good meze and a pleasant overall experience. The flavors are excellent, though the portions are quite small — for example, octopus comes in just four pieces and fried zucchini in about eight slices. A dinner for four with a carafe of rakı, several meze, and two fish dishes (octopus and shrimp) cost around €150. The terrace has a beautiful view over the Bosphorus, with sights of the Maiden’s Tower, Galataport, and all the way to Kadıköy, though you don’t see the traditional old town or the Galata Bridge. In winter, the terrace is covered and heated; if the heaters aren’t on, just ask and they’ll turn them on. One small downside is that the front terrace area with the best view is designated for smokers. Service stands out — the waiters are genuinely friendly and attentive.
