I was initially skeptical after reading some mixed reviews online, but I am so glad I decided to check it out for myself. The shop has a welcoming atmosphere, and the food is absolutely delicious!! It is truly impressive to see a place maintain such good quality and consistency all these years

Great value for food! We came here as it was recommended by few friends, and we were not disappointed 🤩 The menu is very simple, there are just a few dishes - ps. their wraps are delicious! The staff is on point, very reactive and even tho there’s always queue, they managed everything very efficiently! *They have few tables outside Recommended 100%

Dürümzades reputation precedes itself. A humble, small, family run shop that has been in business for years. Aside from a visit from Anthony Bourdain some time ago now, it's rise to fame amongst tourists and locals alike cannot only be attributed to one experts opinion (although still highly valued). What makes Dürümzade so good is its combination of local ingredients along with a fair price. It isn't trying to be anything more than what it is, and herein lies its beauty and the answer to its success. When I walked in, I was greeted respectfully by the owner. I ordered the Lamb kebab with an Ayran and took my seat just outside the shop. The low to the ground plastic table and seats really sold that "Bourdain" vibe of: "What's coming is going to be absolutely delicious". The Dürüm itself came out rather quickly, and was piping hot. The kebab itself was decently sized, and the first bite was simply heaven. The lamb was beyond juicy, and actually tasted like lamb had just come off the grill. The bread, which was handmade from scratch, was both chewy (in a good way) and soft. It kept the structural integrity of the kebab perfectly. To compliment the Lamb was a wonderful mix of tomatoes, onions and best of all, mint which added bite, texture and a sense of freshness to counteract the strong lamb taste. I paid 320 TRL, which is around 5-6 euros and left feeling full and more than satisfied. I absolutely recommend Dürümzade to anyone that loves kebab, and even more so to those who have never tried authentic turkish Dürüm and are looking for a first experience. My only word of caution is that after trying this one, I'm afraid that no other kebab will ever truly live up to the magic being created at Dürümzade.

If you want authentic street food, you have to visit this spot. It’s super centrally located and perfect for a quick bite. The food is incredible. I had the Adana dürüm and the meat was perfectly grilled. What makes it special is the bread - they spice and toast it perfectly! Cheap, delicious, fast and right in the middle of the action. Highly recommended!

I really wanted to like this place because of Anthony, but I was disappointed with the meat platter. It was a great price, but the meat was far too dry. The chicken, beef, and liver cubes were all tough and felt like chewing on leather. I’d rate the meat platter 5/10. The wait for the food was around 35 minutes, which was a bit longer than expected. On the positive side, the dürüms were excellent. The beef minced Adana dürüm was full of flavour and easily a 9/10. The chicken dürüm tasted good, but it was a little dry as well, so I’d give it 6/10. Overall, there are definitely some standout items on the menu, but the meat platter needs improvement.
