We searched “vegetarian food” on Google and this place was the first to pop up! It didn’t disappoint as we had extremely tasty pasta and Turkish food. The dolma, which was served with delicately flavored yogurt and fresh lemon, was exceptional. Turkish coffee and baklava were the perfect way to end the meal while sitting outside on the patio. The service was amazing - the owner was personable and engaged us in interesting conversation. This restaurant had incredible food, atmosphere, location, and service!

I visited Divella Bistro about two weeks ago, and it remains one of my favorite dining memories from Istanbul. The lentil soup was absolutely delicious, rich and flavorful, and the chicken Shishka was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Every detail of the meal impressed me, including the beer and the rakia. What truly set this restaurant apart was the exceptional service. The servers were attentive, generous, and genuinely welcoming. They even surprised me with complimentary tea at the end of my meal, which was a lovely touch. Learning that the restaurant is family-owned added so much charm to the experience—you can tell they take pride in their work. The restaurant itself is immaculate and well-maintained. On the rainy day I visited, it provided the perfect warm refuge, but I'd recommend stopping by regardless of the weather, especially if you're exploring the nearby historical sites like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. If you're looking for authentic Turkish cuisine with genuine hospitality in the heart of Sultanahmet, Divella Bistro is absolutely worth your time.

Yummy food, but the Turkish coffee was not served traditionally, which was a surprise! No Turkish delights or water cup to accompany the coffee. We got the calamari, lentil soup, spicy salad, mixed meat kebap, and stuffed eggplant. The meal was delicious and filling, and the calamari was very fresh!

We ordered calamari, lentil soup, stuffed eggplant, and minced beef/lamb. The food was very good. We ordered Turkish coffee and for the first meal ever in Istanbul (been here for 5 days), we were not offered Turkish delight. When I asked, he said he didn’t offer and I don’t know but I was so surprised. Otherwise, lovely they offered Turkish tea and baklava at the end of the meal.

Onur gave me an excellent welcome. The Black Sea Salmon was excellent, and they were able to recreate their Greek Salad to order without black olives. Would highly recommend - in short walking distance from the Blue Mosque!
