Greek salad , calamari and Lamb chops were just okay. 3 single Lamb chops w warm fries for $44 is full price. Everything was just okay. But view was terrific.
Good afternoon! I would like to leave a review of the Aya Roof Lounge restaurant. This restaurant came up completely by chance in an AI recommendation. The restaurant has just reopened after renovation. There are only a few tables — very cozy, with a beautifully thought-out interior down to the smallest details, and a magnificent view of the Bosphorus and the inner courtyard of the Four Seasons. I was amazed at how well they prepare seafood here — the octopus with sauce was an absolute delight. We were celebrating an anniversary, so we tried many dishes, and all of them left a positive impression. The service was impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful celebration!
Beautiful rooftop venue with stunning views. The interior design is modern and stylish, loved the green plant walls. Food was excellent, particularly the grilled fish and the appetizers. Service was friendly and professional throughout the evening. I would recommend coming for sunset and staying through dinner. The transformation from golden hour to city lights is magical. Recommended!
UPDATE: Went there a few months ago expecting the same amazing standards, unfortunately something has changed including the fish curry which tasted more watery and diluted (maybe just a bad kitchen day). We traveled from further in Istanbul to get here and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. (Original review from previous year: Always a beautiful experience and now one of our favourites in Istanbul. The staff are kind, warm and they understand hospitality really well, making you feel at home rather than just eating at a restaurant! The food is exceptional, everything we tasted was delicious. Would absolutely recommend the fish curry and the roasted katmer for dessert, both were second to none.)
