We had dinner at Chacha balık Restaurant and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The restaurant enjoys an outstanding location with a breathtaking panoramic view over Istanbul’s skyline and the Golden Horn, creating a truly memorable atmosphere.The food was absolutely delicious , from the starters to the desserts, every dish was flawless and perfectly presented. I especially highly recommend the Dülger fish; it was prepared to perfection and on another level in terms of quality and taste.A place definitely worth visiting when in Istanbul
Chacha Balik — Where the Sea Meets Fire Not just a seafood dinner. A ritual. Fresh turbot presented whole, grilled to perfection, carved tableside. Pure product. Minimal intervention. Maximum flavor. You don’t come here for “a dish.” You come for texture, smoke, salt, and that unmistakable Black Sea character. When seafood is this fresh, simplicity becomes luxury.
It's a very traditional, exclusive restaurant on the Bosphorus. Usually, it's used for special occasions, events, and meetings, since it's pricey but also offers high-quality food and services, as well as a great view. If you are coming from the European side by car, it will take you a long time due to traffic, so the boat is a good option.
The Chacha Balık restaurant is located on the Asian side of Istanbul near the Bosphorus Bridge. Easily accessible by ferry from Kuruçeşme, it offers visitors an incredible view of the Bosphorus Strait, which is even more enchanting at sunset. The restaurant is modern, neat, elegant, and romantic at the same time. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the wait times are very short. The seafood dining experience is incredible: refined and sometimes gourmet dishes, fresh fish of the highest quality, and seasonings combined with flair and imagination. I went there for a business dinner with some doctors and was left speechless. I recommend the variety of appetizers, the grilled squid, but above all, a delicious dentex cooked to perfection for 12 people. An absolutely must-try experience if you are on vacation in Istanbul.
