We are extremely pleased with our stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing especially Chucky, our room was perfect and got cleaned anytime we needed. The rooftop restaurant is really great with a breathtaking view. Breakfast was amazing, dinner also. The hotel was in the best possible location for Istanbul. Really close to trams and sightseeing locations. Parking was also available. I would visit again.🙌🙌🙌
Small boutique hotel located in a historic bohemian neighborhood. The staff is exceptional, rooms are small but comfortable, views from the rooftop dining are exquisite. Breakfast was included in our room rate and it didn’t disappoint.
This hotel exceeded all our expectations. We are a family of four with two young teens and reserved two adjoining rooms which worked perfect for us. The check in process was very fast with very courteous and friendly staff. We reserved in advance thru the Hotel the ground transportation from Airport to Hotel (roundtrip) and even though is on the high side is 100% worthy as both Istanbul Airports are kind of far from the City Center. The Hotel location is just perfect. The metro station is just few steps from the hotel and then from there you can connect everywhere. On top of this, from the hotel you can walk thru many touristic places like the Galata Tower which is only few blocks away. The included breakfast was absolutely fantastic! It offers warm and cold options and what a better way to start your day with this meal already included, plus the view from the rooftop restaurant is unbeatable! The rooms were very clean, enough space for the four of us, bathrooms were very well stocked with towels and all kind of toiletries! This is a small style boutique Hotel but it worked great for us, we stayed almost a week and had a very pleasant time. The check out was also very good, they took care of our luggage for several hours since our return flight was until 6PM and again, the staff was so nice... We strongly recommend this hotel.
We loved our 7 night stay at the Galata Times Hotel. The location is second to none. A couple of minutes walk from the stunning Galata Tower and other beautiful streets. Public transport was right outside the hotel too. The view from our room and the rooftop where we had a gorgeous breakfast daily is second to none. The Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque could be seen from our room window and the restaurant rooftop. In the evening with had beautiful cocktails at the rooftop restaurant. All the staff were so obliging and attentive. We will definitely be back and would recommend a stay at the Galata Times to anyone visiting the wonderful city of Istanbul.
Absolutely delightful stay at Galata Times Hotel. The staff were fantastic and extremely welcoming. Rami was really friendly and talkative and provided us with great recommendations and conversation. Fret was super nice and helped arrange for sandwich service for our early flight. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The cleaning service did a wonderful job and we really appreciated their attention to detail. The food and the Turkish tea were exceptional at the breakfast buffet. They rotated out the foods but everything was delicious and extremely fresh. We could not be more happy with our experience at this hotel. We will miss chucky the cat!
