This was the best hammam experience in Istanbul! The experience is completely private, which was really important for my husband and me. They even offered to take photos for us with our phone, which was such a nice touch. Adele and Swati were especially kind, welcoming, and paid close attention to every detail throughout the entire experience. The massage afterward was also exceptional, genuinely one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Everything felt relaxing, professional, and well thought out from beginning to end. I would absolutely recommend this hammam to anyone visiting Istanbul!
We had a magical hamam and massage experience here! Our therapists Wati and Adel were amazing, very caring and attentive, hamam was very pleasant and the massage afterwards was the best I’ve had! Definitely worth to visit, a true luxury experience. The place is beautiful and the therapists are true professionals. Huge thanks to both!
My husband and I had a couple Safi Haman and it’s so far one of the most enjoyable and fun experiences we’ve had during our short stay in Istanbul. From the hot marble surface to the dreamy foam sliver our bodies to the incredible body scrub and massage to the pleasant surprise of cooling water poured from above the head at the end, everything was lovely. Hana and Adal were very nice, friendly and skilled - 5 stars for sure for their wonderful services! The entire venue was atmospheric and stylish, the staff very helpful.
A truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The space is absolutely beautiful—calming, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax the moment you step in. The staff were fantastic: kind, attentive, and professional, ensuring everything felt comfortable and enjoyable. A special mention to Gokhana t the front desk, who took the time to explain the history of the hammam—he was incredibly kind and showed great hospitality. Special thanks as well to Dian, who provided an amazing hammam massage. Overall, a great experience that I would happily recommend!
We had no reason to doubt the recommendation of our amazing concierge, Yigit, at the Sanasaryan Han - but this place is a bases loaded, bottom of the 9th, walk off game 7 championship experience. I try to keep a top 5 must do experiences list for friends and family - this just made #1. Whatever package you think you want, upgrade it. Pay the money. Tigi and Lora were next level. We did this as a couple and that was the ticket to not worry about this at all. We did bath plus massage and after the massage there was a Sauna and Steam room with shower included. I don’t remember what my skin felt like the day I was born, but I’m guessing today’s feeling is on par with that. We give this a 10 out of 10 with 5 stars. The extra relax time lets you feel like the Sultan in the Harem. The tea and fruit service is just icing on the cake. Only piece of advice is just show up, you have no need to bring anything except your body and soul. They briefed us on the extensive history of this place on the way in. The photo is for attention, you enter through a beautiful old Galata Hotel and the picture is from the Alley in the back that seems to be a bit of secret from days of old.
