Stayed here twice, at the beginning and end of a tour, and the rooms were very different (one quite small, one more luxe). Seems to be the case with the hotel, as there are actually two separately-placed elevators which bring you to different areas of the hotel rooms. There's both a lobby-adjacent restaurant/bar and a rooftop restaurant...but the included breakfast was served next door as an assorted individual tray which was too heavy on deep-fried items (and coffee was not included).
Great rooms! Clean facilities and attentive service. The hotel restaurant and bar was extremely expensive but looked great. The hotel was located right at Galata which made it super easy to see all of the sights.
4 stars for its great location in Karakoy. It could be better with some innovations in the rooms. The rooms were a bit small and looked rather old and outdated. The rooms facing the main street will get their share of the busy street's noise. The location was great as it's in the centre of everything. Galata saray is 5 mins walk, the umbrella street is just opposite from the hotel and Galata port is around 8 mins walk too. Taxis are available at all times right outside the hotel and Karakoy pier is less than 5 mins walk. For a short trip in Istanbul we found the hotel's location to be one of the best to easily move around.
A wonderful hotel, and I have stayed here three times. The staff are extremely kind and professional, especially Rafi, Fatih, and Diaa. The rooms are small to medium in size, but clean and comfortable. Security is very high, as access to the room floors is only possible with a room key card, which gives great peace of mind. The hotel is very suitable for women and families. Overall, the service is excellent, and I would definitely stay here again. Best regards, Taghreed
We cannot recomment this place highly enough. The most outstanding feature were the friendly and helpful staff. From the roof top restaurant to staff at the front desk, we were treated with kindness and respect throughout our stay. Though some of the rooms can be a little small we were fortunate enough to have been upgraded to one of the suites for the duration of our stay.....at no extra cost. The location is also a bonus with plenty of shopping, eating and sight seeing within easy walking distance. Overall we were very happy with this place and encourage others to give it a go.
