When we first entered the hotel, there was a strong smell of chlorine mixed with cigarette smoke, which didn’t give the best first impression. The room itself felt quite dark and gloomy because the window faced another building, and even with the lights on, it was hard to see anything properly. The bed wasn’t comfortable at all, the pillows were way too thick, and the wooden corner of the frame stuck out so much that I kept bumping into it. At night it was really noisy, even with the windows facing away from the main street. Sleeping without earplugs was almost impossible, but closing the windows made the air unbearably stuffy. The bathroom looked very nice, but some parts felt worn out and the toilet wasn’t very clean. Instead of the hair conditioner there was another shampoo inside. The location of the hotel was actually great. Lots of public transport stops, bars and restaurants nearby but of course that also meant plenty of noise at night. Overall, the room just didn’t feel comfortable or pleasant. It might work for one or two nights, but for a longer stay, I’d recommend looking for something else.
I wanted to surprise my fiancée with a special trip to Turkey for her birthday, and I was searching for a cozy, romantic place where I could also arrange a nice decoration setup. After speaking with several places, no one was willing to go the extra mile — but Berker and his team truly went above and beyond to make this surprise happen. They not only helped me plan the decoration but also assisted with ordering and placing a cake in the room, making everything absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have done this without them. Communication was excellent — they were always responsive and eager to help. The place itself is in one of the best locations in Istanbul, with everything within easy reach. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés right on the same street, which made exploring the city even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, memorable stay with hosts who genuinely care about their guests’ experience.
