I had an excellent stay and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The hotel was spotless at all times—cleaning was done to a very high standard, and everything felt fresh, tidy, and well cared for. My room was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The staff truly stood out—they were all incredibly polite, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their professionalism and kindness made me feel very welcome. The location in Istanbul is outstanding. Everything is close by, with many attractions, shops, and restaurants just a short walk away. Even though it’s in such a central area, it was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful and restful stay. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul and would definitely stay here again. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
No noise from outside but terrible soundproofing internally. We could hear the tv next door and were woken by them putting on the kettle. We were also next to the cleaner’s cupboard which added to the din. Modern room with room service. Bathroom was odd with a high WC and a tiny basin/ sink unit. Breakfast was adequate. The stand out moment was entering reception and looking down. The excavated remains of a turkish bath are preserved and visible through a glass floor. Took my breath away. Just wow.
The place. The location. Perfect. Shiny and compact. Clean and comfy —Making me lazy to go out and explore. Near to Istanbul's top attractions —it's only about a seven-minute walk to Hagia Sophia. Unfortunately, our vacation here was short, and it was Ramadan, and the long and tiring journey meant we didn't really explore much, especially the culinary. Nevertheless, it was a very enjoyable and memorable experience. Literally Shining Star.
It was easy to reserve a room from a different country directly from their website. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were clean with harmed wood floors. The location is great, with a short walk to everything, including a local transportation. The only small drawback is that their breakfast has no variety with limited options, and it is the same every day. Still, grat value for the money.
I stayed in the shining star hotel with my family for two nights. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were welcoming. The breakfast was OK with limited options but free and included in the price. The only drawback was that the air conditioning was switched to the heating function in the whole building. It couldn’t be switched to cooling function as it was centrally controlled and the staff told me that to change it to cooling function, they have to change it for the whole building, which was quite frustrating as we felt quite hot at day time as we were on a higher floor. The staff told us to open the windows, but the issue was the noise coming from outside and the flies. The room got quite hot and it kind of ruined our experience, which otherwise would have been amazing given the cleanliness of the rooms and really nice service of staff. Despite the issue I faced, I would highly recommend this hotel due to its location, good sized rooms and quality service but they really need to sort out the air conditioning issue. Nevertheless keep up the great work!!
