We visited this hotel’s spa as outside guests and had an excellent Turkish bath and massage experience together as a couple. The prices were reasonable, the facilities were very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful experience..!
We recently stayed at Castellion for a few nights when visiting Istanbul. Because this hotel is very new and not yet finished, the spa and restaurant (with breakfast) are unavailable- but that didn’t take away from our experience. The lobby itself is stunning and the rooms are beautifully designed with well thought out finishes. Location is incredible and is a maximum 12 min walk from everything - including the water side and all major transportation options. Staff was lovely and the sheets were incredibly soft. It is a historical building though so sound does travel and the “view” from most rooms is the sides of other buildings. If you are traveling and don’t have European plugs or converters, you will definitely need one as there are not USB outlets as well. My only other feedback as they finish up the renovation is about the WiFi and the bathroom lighting. The WiFi was spotty at best and my parter, who didn’t have an international data plan, had to sit in the bathroom to get a decent signal. As for the restroom, the lighting for the mirror is honestly awful and could benefit from some softer back lighting. I used the mirror in the room to get ready because the shadows and light were so bad at the sink. These items are genuinely constructive criticism, though, and I would absolutely recommend staying here!
We stayed at this beautiful hotel with my wife, and it truly is a gem. Its location is perfect for exploring all of Istanbul, with easy access to public transportation. The service was impeccable—attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place without hesitation.
A great city hotel with spacious rooms that offer exclusive design and comfort! The location is excellent for walking tours around the main sightseeing spots of Istanbul. All of the necessary accessories for a comfortable stay were provided. The hair dryer was great! Soft linen and a variety of towels make the stay effortless. Affordable luxury in short! Would totally return to the hotel and recommend it to friends and family visiting the city for a short or even longer stay!
We stayed at the hotel when it was newly opened. Some things were not working yet but they adjusted their prices to that. The rooms were beautifully furnished and a good size. Location was also perfect, a lot of good spots are within walking distance. The service was great! Hanna gave use good advice on which restaurants to visit and was very polite and helpful. Looking forward to coming back and seeing the fully finished hotel with spa!
