We went here for the view of istanbul skyline and Galata tower at sunset we also had dinner here which was nice but ofcourse on the pricey- er side. We were seated on the back terrace but nonetheless the views were spectacular from there. We enjoyed our time, I forgot my bag there but they very graciously kept it safe and I went back to collect it from them ofcourse very frantic but calmed down by the manager at the reception itself that Avet you left it here and then I collected it from the same staff upstairs.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The highlight for us was the genuinely warm, kind, and attentive staff. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, so it can be noisy at night. If you’re a light sleeper, this is something to keep in mind. However, the hotel provides earplugs, and I slept perfectly well with them every night. The breakfasts were excellent, the service was outstanding, and everyone at the reception was always friendly and helpful. A special thank you to the managers, Bahar and Kasim, for making our stay so comfortable. Thanks a lot guys! 🥹❤️ The location couldn’t be better—Galata Tower, Taksim, the ferry, and other public transport are all within easy walking distance. As a pregnant guest, I especially appreciated how caring and responsive the team was. Every request was met with kindness and a smile. Thank you for such a lovely experience—we would happily stay here again!🥰
Really solid hotel at a reasonable price. I compared a lot of options and ultimately chose Meroddi Barnathan because of the rooftop breakfast. Unfortunately, breakfast is no longer served on the roof. It’s now on the terrace below. You still get a great view of Galata Tower, but not the Bosphorus. The rooftop is still worth visiting for a sunset drink, though it attracts plenty of non-hotel guests for the view (tbh, the terrace too). The staff were a mix of genuinely kind and occasionally a bit disorganized. Overall, I’d consider staying here again. Next time I might look for a hotel with breakfast overlooking the Bosphorus, but I also wouldn’t pay much more. This was a solid 4-star hotel and good value for the price.
Meroddi Barnathan Hotel was one of the highlights of our stay in Istanbul. The view of Galata Tower from the room was absolutely beautiful and made the experience feel very special. Breakfast on the terrace was another favorite part, the atmosphere was charming, the food was excellent, and the pianist performing each morning added such a lovely touch. The staff were wonderful as well, especially the front desk team, who were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had an early flight, and they kindly prepared breakfast to go, which we really appreciated. A beautiful hotel with great character, amazing views, and truly memorable service.
Great cute boutique hotel at the best location for sightseeing and shopping. The hotel has nice old features with a rooftop with beautiful views. Hotel rooms are romantic and clean, with a big bed! The staff was nice and helpful. Special shout out to Reza at the reception. He was very helpful and made sure I had all I needed during my time in Istanbul. Highly recommend this hotel and thank you again Reza!
