Description
The tour begins with hotel pickup in an air-conditioned bus and transfer to the port. From there, embark on a ferry to the Prince's Islands, starting with the first island and then to Büyükada, the largest island.
During the boat ride from Istanbul, admire landmarks such as Topkapı Palace and Maiden’s Tower. Your guide will provide historical insights on the islands, including their roles as places of exile and Byzantine-Christian monastic sites.
Approaching Büyükada, observe the distinctive wooden mansions featuring late Ottoman architecture. You can feed seagulls with simit (sesame bread) provided by your guide.
Lunch is served onboard in summer or at an island restaurant in winter. Afterward, spend free time exploring the islands at your own pace. Visit the smaller second island for about an hour before regrouping for the return ferry to Istanbul.
