Day 1: Fly domestically to Kayseri and visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring cave churches, kitchens, and wineries created by Anatolian Christians. See Byzantine frescoes and learn about the area's history.
Continue to Devrent Valley to view unique rock formations, including a pillar resembling the Virgin Mary holding Jesus. Visit Pasabag (Monks Valley) to observe the region’s distinct landscape.
Arrive at Avanos Village to explore its traditional pottery, silk, wool, carpet weaving, wine cultivation, and agriculture. Participate in a pottery-making workshop with local artisans after a typical Turkish lunch.
Head to Göreme Panorama to view the fairy chimneys, then visit Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in the region, offering panoramic views of Cappadocia. End the day at your special-class cave hotel for overnight accommodation.
Day 2: After breakfast, visit Rose and Red Valleys with their pink-tinted ridges, especially visible during sunset. Explore Cavuşin and its rock churches, then walk through Pigeon Valley with its numerous dovecotes carved into volcanic tuff.
Discover the underground cities that once sheltered up to 15,000 Christians, featuring bedrooms, churches, meeting halls, and storage rooms within an 8-story complex linked by 30 kilometers of tunnels.
Visit Ortahisar, known for its stone houses, narrow streets, friendly locals, and a castle-like rock formation dominating the town skyline.
Return to Kayseri Airport for your domestic flight back to Istanbul, where a driver will meet you for transfer to your hotel.
