Description
Do all your Istanbul shopping with a private local guide who grew up working in the Grand Bazaar. You'll know what's worth buying, what it should cost, and where to find it, with someone who has done this their whole life.
We meet near the Grand Bazaar at a central, easy-to-find spot for a quick introduction to the day.
Then we head to the Grand Bazaar. Shop owners give you their presentations, and your guide steers you toward the items you're after and away from the ones you're not, so you can buy with confidence. Along the way you'll get plenty of free tastings from the shops.
Next we take a short walk through the Eminönü market, where locals shop for everyday needs. It's a good look at how the city actually buys and sells, away from the tourist stalls.
After you've shopped and tasted your way through both bazaars, we finish at a central location with easy onward transport.
