Discover the heart of Istanbul’s historic peninsula on a professionally guided English-speaking walking tour with hotel pickup and drop-off included. Your experience begins with a comfortable transfer from your hotel to the Old City, where you will start with an exterior visit and historical introduction to Topkapı Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman sultans. (Please note: Topkapı Palace entrance ticket is not included.)
Afterwards, enjoy a short stop at a local leather shop before continuing to the vibrant Grand Bazaar, where your guide will share insights about one of the world’s oldest covered markets and give you free time to explore. A traditional Turkish lunch at a selected local restaurant is included in the tour.
Following lunch, walk through Sultanahmet Square (the ancient Hippodrome) and admire its historic monuments. Visit the magnificent Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque) and conclude your tour at the iconic Hagia Sophia, where your guide will explain its fascinating Byzantine and Ottoman history.
