Walking into the Orient Bar is like traveling back in time. The decoration is absolutely sublime, maintaining all its historic charm and elegance. It is an impressive place to enjoy a cocktail in Istanbul. If you appreciate history and classic luxury, this spot is a must. It’s worth every penny for the atmosphere alone.
As expected being part of the Pera Palace this is a very upscale feel type of bar. Beautiful, is not as expensive as I would have expect it for this type of place. Had a Hugo spritz (not on the menu but they made for us) and a glass of wine. Nice place with lots of history.
I did not get the restaurant area, but took some pictures along the walls. The Turkish coffee was excellent.
The hotel is a must visit place for everyone. Great history, interior, atmosphere like you are really another reality. I love orient bar mostly because of interior. I feel so excited here. Also sometimes they have life music - usually it’s jazz. Cocktails are average, but marketing very good - midnight at Pera, white lotus etc. Interesting concept 100%.
