Traveling from Australia. 2 couples in 2 rooms. We had an amazing stay. Hotel staff are awesome - very friendly, loves a chat, and give good advice. We had dinner at one of their recommendations and it was one of our favourite meals in Instanbul. Hotel was able to book us a private tour, and they also organised our airport transfers for a good price. Location was super central - short tram ride to the old town, and so many restaurants and shops within 4 mins walk. Galatia tower was also super close. Very happy with our stay. Would stay here again without hesitation.
I don’t usually write reviews, however, my stay at Doruk Palas Hotel was so exceptional that I feel compelled to pass on my thanks. The rooms are comfortable, cleaned daily, equipped with air conditioning. Mine had a view of the Hagia Sophia. The breakfasts are traditional, varied, and outstanding. Above all, the staff are truly world class. Mohammed, Bilal, Hassan, and Naz made our stay in Istanbul so lovely, providing local knowledge to make sure our stay was everything we could have hoped for. I will definitely be back to Istanbul and I will only stay at Doruk Palas. A buzzing city and a familiar, comfortable hotel.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The hotel itself was wonderful—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. What really made my experience special, though, was the incredible staff. Mohammed, Bilal, and Naz were some of the kindest and friendliest people I’ve met. They were always welcoming, incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond whenever I needed anything. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made my stay so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back, and a big reason for that is because of them. Thank you all for making my trip such a memorable one!
Super nice and mega cozy place very close to the major tourist attractions in historical Istanbul. Staff is very dedicated, friendly and extremely helpful. All rooms have a nice view over the Golden Horn and nearby Sultanahmet. Rooms are small, but comfortable and have everything you need. The breakfast is super good. And if you need just that little extra, there is always Mr. Osman to entertain you.
This hotel is an absolute must! It was our first time visiting Turkey for our honeymoon and coming all the way from Australia, we didn't quite know what to expect. Safe to say, our expectations were completely blown out of the water. First of all, the location is incredible. You are right on the doorstep of the Galata Tower and the vibrant Galata neighborhood, with everything within walking distance. You also feel incredibly safe in this area. We didn’t have to catch a taxi at all because it's so accessible. We even walked over to the Hagia Sophia multiple times since it's such a scenic, beautiful walk. The staff were incredibly kind, caring and attentive to our every need, making our trip so memorable. As a cat lover, I also especially loved how warm and caring the team is toward the local animals! The view from our room was spectacular. We could count eight mosques from our balcony and watching the city light up each night was so special. Honestly, photos don’t do justice to how clean, chic and modern the rooms are. To top it off, the breakfast was to die for! The fresh bread with hummus is an absolute must-try. We will definitely be back to Turkey and we will absolutely be staying at Doruk Palas again!
