G Residences Gayrettepe has become our go-to place to stay when visiting Istanbul and is an excellent option for travelers seeking comfort, space, and a more local experience than the typical tourist districts offer. While it is not located in the heart of the historic sightseeing areas, it more than compensates with high-quality accommodations and a distinctly residential, authentic neighborhood atmosphere that allows you to experience Istanbul beyond its tourist façade. The suites are spacious, stylish, and exceptionally well-equipped—more akin to upscale serviced apartments than standard hotel rooms. Large, clean, and thoughtfully furnished, they come with excellent amenities including a full kitchen with modern appliances, laundry facilities, a comfortable living area, and generous contemporary bathrooms, making them especially well suited for extended stays or travelers who value extra space and convenience. Another major advantage is the location: being only a few blocks from the metro is invaluable in a megacity like Istanbul, where traffic can be notoriously heavy. There are also numerous restaurants, cafés, large markets and everyday conveniences within easy walking distance, adding to the neighborhood’s practicality and local charm. Combined with friendly staff, strong value for money, and consistently pleasant stays, G Residences delivers a highly comfortable and reliable base in the city. Tip: This property is ideal for travelers who prefer space, comfort, and authentic neighborhood atmosphere over being directly in the tourist center. Use the nearby metro frequently—it will save substantial time versus taxis during peak traffic. The in-suite kitchen and laundry also make it particularly advantageous for longer stays or family travel.
Great place to stay in Istanbul. Wide and clean rooms. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful especially Yaşar, many thanks to him 🙏🏻 There’s also a nearby grocery store and a bakery.
We stayed at the amazing G Residences during our vacation with my family and it was an amazing experience! The location is perfect, just 2 minutes away from Smashh Burger and Trattoria Carbonara, both excellent restaurants. There’s also a supermarket (Buenveno) right across the residence and a bakery/pastry shop nearby. The residence is about 15 minutes from Cevahir Mall and around 35 minutes on foot from the upscale Nişantaşı (City’s Mall) area. The location is great, the staff were very kind and attentive, and the apartment was spotless. A big thank you to the whole team, and a special mention to Metin, the handyman, who always cleaned our apartment perfectly and kept it very tidy. Highly recommended!
