Important Information

• The meeting point is at Dsign Cafe, where your host will be waiting with a white flag or a purple and fuchsia umbrella with the Istanbul Tourist Pass® logo. All visitors must pass through a security check. During busy times, lines may form and waiting can take up to 30 minutes, as tickets do not include priority access. The Hagia Sophia Museum entrance ticket ONLY gives access to the 2nd-floor visitor areas but NOT to the Mosque's prayer areas. Children will be asked to present their passports at the entrance to confirm their age. Both men and women should wear modest clothes (cover arms and legs). Women also need to cover their hair with a scarf. You can buy one if you don’t have it. The mosque is open for only half a day on the first day of Ramadan and the Sacrifice Festivals. If you wish to join the Blue Mosque visit, please note that it takes place at 09:30 AM on the morning of your selected date, and participation at that time is required.
