Excellent massage experience! The place is clean, relaxing, and very professional. A special thanks to the reception staff, Rama, Maram, and Yaren, for their warm welcome, kindness, and outstanding customer service. They made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back
Overall a fine experience but wouldn’t recommend. Agree that everyone was very nice and the facilities were clean. Our massages themselves were great. However, at point one of the masseuses left the room for about five minutes and didn’t make up the time. They were also chatting with each other during the massage. The sauna and hamam were very rushed. Did not feel very clean after, still had oil and face mask on. Have had other excellent hamam experiences so know there are better out there. For that reason wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
I haven't gone to a hamam for over fifteen years so I couldn't recall what to expect but I regularly go for massages when I'm abroad and in London. The place is on the lower level of a hotel. It felt spa like when entering and the individual at the desk was really nice and made me feel very comfortable , spoke fluent english. There is no lockers so just to keep in mind. The manager said there was cameras down the hall and no-one would go in my room . I took my bank card initially in the sauna with me but left it after I felt comfortable. I went to the sauna first which was nice and clean and then chose to go for the massage after . The staff were flexible with what I chose first massage or sauna The massage was relaxing and I chose an hour. The lady spoke English so I could tell her what I wanted and the pressure . I'm not certain it was Thai massage maybe it was just more of a relaxing message . She varied the pressure with what I requested . She was really nice the lady. She massaged my face also and hair . She put on relaxing music . The hamam was nice .I didn't bring a swimsuit I assumed I didn't need one so I was pretty much naked without the cloth . I'm not prudish so I didn't mind. She scrubbed me properly , the hot water she put on me was lovely , she offered to wash and shampoo my hair . I felt like a baby lol after . I was the only one in there. I think a few things could uplift the experience . A locker would be good. Maybe some nice smells like diffusers would help it smell spa like . There was a blow dryer at the end near some shower cubicles. But it felt a bit tatty in there . E.g.Changing the bin to a closed bin. There was a few things left out near there that could be tidied away and made it look less spa like and more old bathroom. It was however a great experience overall and good value for the price that was offered . I'm glad I went .
I had 1 hour massage only, not the hamam. My first massage in Turkey. Hanna did a fantastic job. It is slightly different than American massage with just a small Turkish bath towel on top of you instead of a large full size sheet. Also, when you turn over for the front side, they massage every muscle from the waist up, so if you're too modest, let them know. I was so relaxed by then I didn't mind. My sore legs were cured, and I left completely relaxed. Brava!
The place is in the basement of a beautiful hotel. The massage was good. Thank you.
