Nidya Hotel was such a pleasant surprise! This charming boutique hotel has some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. They truly go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I stayed in one of the larger rooms, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. As an animal lover, I especially enjoyed the little cat colony that greets guests in the courtyard of the second building. If cats aren’t your thing, don’t worry, they’ll leave you alone unless you start calling them with a little “pss pss.” The hotel’s location is another huge plus. It’s within walking distance of Galataport, great restaurants, cafés, and the waterfront, with only a short taxi ride to Istanbul’s major tourist attractions. Overall, I would absolutely stay at Nidya Hotel again, simply because of the exceptional hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable!
we stayed at this hotel briefly in 2025 and again in 2026 for a week and i couldn’t recommend this hotel more! the location is perfect and the staff are very kind and friendly :) the receptionist sadik helped us when we ran into a problem with our booking last time and this time our stay was made even more special by baykal the receptionist who was very kind and welcoming! we’ll definitely be staying here again :) if HR is reading this, give baykal a raise haha
Nice and convenient location close to Taksim area,Galata tower and the ferries across the bosphorus strait. Staff was very nice friendly and helpful. Many beautiful cats around the hotel. Room was quite small but pleasant. Unfortunately i didnt have the time to try out the breakfast
Great stay overall. The location is perfect, right in front of Galataport with a large commercial area where you have everything you need within walking distance. The area also feels safe to walk around, even at night. The reception is 24 hours and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They can organise things easily, including taxis, which were actually at a competitive price compared to Uber. Breakfast is buffet style with a good selection: cheeses, hams, breads, cereals, Turkish items, eggs (fried and boiled), potatoes, coffee machine, juices, etc. The orange juice isn’t freshly squeezed, but overall the variety is solid. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It had everything needed — safe, flat-screen TV, desk, air conditioning, and a bathroom with both bath and shower. It is slightly dated, so I think I may have been in one of the older rooms, but still perfectly good for a short stay. There’s also a restaurant serving food throughout the day, reasonably priced for a hotel and the food was good quality. I didn’t get a chance to use the spa or gym, but they are available. Overall, a very good option in Istanbul with excellent location and friendly service. Would definitely stay again.
As per location it is very convenient. We (4) stayed 2 nights through Turkish Airlies. Breakfast arrangements were nice and good that we enjoyed. Trying to share the experiences that we experienced. However overall service was below standard, managers including receptionist all need further training how to check out and provide basic services available from the beginning of stay... After check-in, we found elevator as non functional within extension area. Technician had to fix the elevator after that we were in psychological pressure everytime we took the elevator. With the help of 2 persons we reached room 913/914 in another building with all 12 luggages. Just want to mention, 2 washroom/toilets had bad odors 24/7, specially 914/913 rooms. Complained about the odors, suggesting owners/directors should stay a night there and tolerate the odors. There was no water and towels available we had to request every time we needed... Finally we had to carry on 6 big luggages along with 6 small ones and 3 small packs of our own to bring down to lobby without any help from the hotel from one building to another building and taking stairs at level 5 and walk in between the buildings to come to main building....!! In the end we were blamed that we informed incorrect room number to checkout at the desk 30 mins earlier, 4 times incorrect, really !!! It's also an intelligent way not to provide services. A disastrous stay with Nidya ! Don't recommend anybody to stay at the extension area of the hotel but at the main building....just want to forget the experiences !! Internationally if we compare, it's a two star services but not a four start that the hotel mgt is claiming.
