Room electricity, A/C etc only works as long as a keycard is in the slot, so if you're out for many hours in the summer, expect to come back to a hot room. Hotel features later checkout than most hotels, which is nice. Breakfast area is small, on a busy day I could see it becoming full very quickly. Variety but mostly small pickled vegetables, cheeses, and sauces. My room was directly below the breakfast area and I heard lots of banging, scraping, etc. in the morning. Luckily I wanted to get up to go to breakfast, otherwise I would have been upset! Room itself has a small minifridge, nice firm bed, nice bathroom. Wifi is bad, undependable. You are given login info but I got an error saying maximum number of devices were connected (2, apparently?) even though I had only one device on the network. Location is excellent for seeing Karakoy and surrounding areas. Lots to walk around and see and do. Restaurants, cafes, shops around every corner.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable , the staffs and the manager were friendly, and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend it.
Hotel has great location, and on photos it’s pretty. However I’m very disappointed from the hotel management. I have a standard non refundable bookings (total 7 hotels in turkey during the vacation). But the booking website is offering “request refund if hotels agree”. I have send in request, explaining the situation in the Middle East, coz my country is under attack, we are entering a war and there is no flights. 6 hotels out of 7 was super cooperative, some refund, some offered changing a date within 6 month. However this hotel wasn’t cooperative, btw I rent it super cheap, now hotel is full and double priced, so if they cancelled my booking I’m sure it would not effect them.
Breakfast is what I want to praise, at this price range they serve a very good quality of food and also freshly made in the kitchen on the top floor. Thank you the kitchen crews for serving the wide variety of food and also fresh. However if you stay in the annex building, you have to walk to the main building to have breakfast. The location is convenient as the tram and ferry are just a walk away. The best thing that make this area better than other is it is not on a hill. So you don't have to walk up and down every time. Shops and convenient stores are a few minutes walk. The room 205 in the annex building I was staying in. The noise from the streets was too loud.
